Today was the 3rd day of Stamford Inter Private University Football Tournament 2004. There were two matches scheduled. The first one was between Asian University of Bangladesh and Manarat University, and the second one was Royal University of Dhaka vs Gono Bishwabiddalaya.

The first game started at 2:00 pm. Jhonny, Kholil, Mony and Rokon of Asisn University played outstandingly and in the end the Asian University won the match by 10-1. At the end of first half the score was Asian University 5 – 1 Manarat University. Jhonny scored 2 goals, Kholil and Rokon both of them shared 2 goals each. And the after the full time it wasAsian University 10 – 1 Manarat University. M. Shaifur Rahman (Moni) of Asian University was selected as the man of the match. With this win Asian University will be able to reach the semi final very easily.

The second match started at 3:45 pm. Gono Bishwabiddalaya faced Royal University of Dhaka in this match. Goals were scored like floods in this match by the players of Gono Bishwabiddalaya. Tanzir (8), Rasel (13), Shahinur (05) each of them scored 2 goals, and Shairful (06), Imran (12), Gausuzzaman rasel (02), each of them shared one goals. So in the end, the result was: Gono Bishwabiddalaya 9 – 0 Royal University of Dhaka . In the end it was more interesting because the man of the match was awarded to Sohrab Hossain (11) of Gono Bishwabiddalaya, for being the best player in the match.
