Today was the second semi-final of the Stamford Inter Private University Football Tournament 2004. In this match, North South University faced Asian University , Bangladesh . Asian University defeated North South University by 5 – 1 goals. In the first half Asian University scored 2 goals while the NSU couldn't score a goal. The Asian University players took the upper hand from the very beginning of the match, and the North South University players couldn't resist the attack of the Asians. Jhonny of Asian University scored 4 goals, and the other goal was scored by Mushfiq of Asian University. The only one goal of NSU was scored by Wazed, from a penalty shot. Man of the match was awarded to Masud Khan Jhonny of Asian University. So with this match Asian University is through to the grand finals, which will be held on 2 nd Oct. 2004 in this same venue.
